Bodegas Domecq Wedding, Baja

Bodegas Domecq Wedding, Baja

When we saw this Bodegas Domecq Wedding in Baja, we were drawn to the fun vibes, retro-inspired fashion and fabulous photography.

The couple, Marcela and Guillermo, who both work in the wine and tequila industries, wanted to treat their guests to the spirits of the region and have an intimate wedding where they could spend quality time with family and friends. The sun-drenched venue proved to be the ideal place for their relaxed and rustically elegant celebration.

The groom looked super sharp in his white tuxedo, and the bride wore a strapless lace dress with long lace gloves and heart-shaped sunglasses. We love how they look in their portraits and how the rich red silk of the bridesmaids dresses make the group shots stand out.

Top photographer, Mario Tijerina, shared with us that he had a blast shooting the wedding and capturing all the moments and details. Tijerina says “I noticed the attention the couple put into all the details right away, from the dress, to the vintage sports car, to the dog’s attire. I was able to include the car in some creative shots while keeping the moments feeling genuine. And I had time to get pictures with their dog Bebe, and plenty of time to capture Marcela and Guillermo in natural light”.

The ceremony was held in the winery chapel and the reception looked out over the gorgeous landscape of the Valle de Guadalupe. With lush rows of grape vines, a rustic barrel room, and a charming courtyard, there were plenty of places to take photos and for guests to celebrate and relax.

Once the party got started, the dance floor filled up and the couple had the time of their lives.
