Designed with an elegant black and white color palette and full of romantic touches, Jordan and Matthew’s Palms Hotel and Spa wedding was a dream come true for the couple who chose Carollna Guzik as their wedding photographer. 

 Located in the heart of Miami Beach, the laid-back sophisticated venue “was the perfect venue for Jordan and Matthew’s gorgeous destination wedding", says Guzik, who noted there were beautiful photo ops everywhere on the property, including great natural light for shooting the bride’s seven bridesmaids wearing stunning off-the-shoulder flowy black gowns (@bellabridesmaids) and holding white bouquets. Not to mention the couple’s dog Yogi sporting a dapper tuxedo “jacket”.

“Jordan and Matthew are such incredible people, and I just loved that their dog Yogi was such an integral part of their wedding day,” says Guzik.

This Palms Hotel and Spa wedding welcomed guests to an oceanfront property with stunning views. The ceremony was held outdoors surrounded by lush palm trees, all white florals (including the groomsmen’s boutonnieres) and tiki huts for a tropical vibe. The bride looked stunning in her lace gown @lovelybridemiami accented by her white rose and ranunculus bouquet from @luceloflor florals. Adds Guzik: “There were no challenges that came up; this wedding was true bliss from the beginning!”

 A big part of the day going smoothly can be attributed to the fact that Carolina Guzik is extremely organized and likes to create structure around the day. “I have a call with my clients weeks before the wedding to go over the photo timeline and what is needed to make sure the day is a success. I'm also in contact with the wedding planner (in this case @natalieevents) as large weddings are a team effort and I want to make sure we are all working together.”
