Vibrant Road's End Farm Wedding in New Hampshire

Shannon and Tad’s Road's End Farm wedding in New Hampshire was an unforgettable celebration full of energy, beautiful details and heartfelt personal touches.

The day began with Shannon getting ready in her generational family home overlooking Lake Winnipesaukee, while Tad and his groomsmen prepared for the big day in a charming treehouse cabin. Then, the wedding got underway at Roads End Farm, a breathtaking venue with mountain views, meticulous grounds and delightful Shaker sided barns.  

A Fun and Fashion-Forward Bridal Party

Their abundant bridal party had 12 bridesmaids and 10 groomsmen so the portrait part of the day was super fun with lots of humorous moments. The bridesmaids wore a colorful assortment of flowing gowns that brought a rainbow of color to the fashion. And the guys stayed classic in black tuxes and bow ties. One particularly sweet moment in the planning process involved Shannon asking her bridesmaids to sketch their predictions of her wedding dress. Needless to say, anticipation ran high, and their reactions when they finally saw her in her gown were priceless.

Emotional Moments and Stunning Views

Kate Preftakes, a leading luxury wedding photographer based in New Hampshire, captured every magical moment with her signature artistry.  Kate shared, “Shannon and Tad’s first look was one of the most special moments of the day – very emotional and real. They read their vows out loud to each other, and you could feel the depth of their love.”

The ceremony took place along the shores of the lake with thousands of Black-Eyed Susan and lupines in bloom, and the weather was simply perfect. 

During dinner, the sunset and the views of the fields and mountains made another spectacular backdrop. Guests poured out from under the reception tent to enjoy the show and socialize, and the night was full of laughter, joy and connection. 

A Celebration to Remember

Afterward the celebration came alive with the cutting of the cake, the couple’s first dance, and hours of exuberant dancing. The thoughtful toasts, and constant feeling of merriment made this Road's End Farm wedding truly unforgettable.
