The last 2 years have been quite a ride, and we're ready to celebrate the creativity of wedding photographers who made it work in spite of the challenges! We're choosing the 50 Best Wedding Photos taken between January 1st, 2020 and right now, and we're giving everybody who enters 500 free photo edits at PHAITO and a 50% discount on their services. 50 photographs will be awarded and 3 will be chosen for some amazing grand prizes, including a $3900 scholarship to Two Mann University, 3 months of unlimited editing from PHAITO, and a 3-month mentorship package from Blair deLaubenfels at Art, Life and Business.

Contest Guidelines
Each photographer may submit up to 15 photos by tagging each one on your Instagram account with #WBLoveDuringCovid, and WBWP members may choose to submit directly through their accounts under Current Contests. New posts and previous posts will all be accepted, and photos without masks or social distancing will be allowed. Please submit no more than 15 photos between 12:00 AM EST on Tuesday, November 9th and 11:59 PM EST on Wednesday, December 1st. If one or more of your photos are chosen for our first round of judging we will reach out to you and ask for a jpeg file that is at least 2400 pixels on the longest side and the story behind the work. This contest is free for all professional wedding photographers 18 years of age or older. For more information, please read our Official Contest Rules.
Our Judges
Danielle Da Silva from Photographers Without Borders, and Davina Kudish from PHAITO and Image Salon, will be joining our owner, Blair deLaubenfels, to choose the final 30 photos and grand prizes winners. We'll be looking for out of the box ideas, wonderful moments, and gorgeous portraits. Of course; composition, lighting, exposure, and processing will all play a role when it comes to getting in our winner's circle, and if you make us cry or laugh out loud, or simply take our breath away, no doubt your photo will rise to the top.
Danielle Da Silva
Dani is the Founder and Executive Director of Photographers Without Borders, a non-profit organization that supports grassroots community initiatives through storytelling media.
She is also an award-winning documentary photographer, director, and storyteller, as well as a Sony ambassador, who has a prestigious background in conservation and international development. We're thrilled to have her on our judging panel to help identify the photos and stories that stand out from the crowd.
Dani is proud to be an South-Asian/Portuguese settler residing on the traditional territories of the Anishinaabe, Métis, Mohawk and other nations in northern Ontario, Canada where she enjoys life in the forest.
Davina Kudish
Davina is an entrepreneur, photographer, writer, and mother. She and her husband Daniel founded Davina + Daniel (davinaplusdaniel.com) in 2008 and spent the next decade documenting weddings all over the world. Their work received international recognition in print and online, and was awarded by dozens of organizations, earning her the title of Photographer of the Year from the Professional Wedding Photographers of Canada.
A co-founder of The Image Salon (imagesalon.com), a post-production agency in Montreal, and Phaito, the new Ai editing tool for Lightroom, Davina is also the founder of Woman Being (womanbeing.ca) She and Daniel just recently moved their family to Costa Rica, where they continue to innovate and enjoy time spent with their son Max and daughter Charlie.
Blair deLaubenfels
For two decades Blair deLaubenfels has focused on the art of photography. Creating a successful wedding and portrait photography business in the year 2000, she photographed weddings for 7 years and then went on to co-found Junebug Weddings and build a community of world-class photographers. Many of those artists still work with her today as a consultant at Art, Life and Business and as a promoter of their work on World's Best Wedding Photos. Blair has contributed to two books on wedding planning, authored hundreds of articles for photo blogs and magazines, spoken all over the world at top photography conferences, and curated hundreds of thousands of images for awards and publications. Now, as our the owner of WBWP, she brings her expertise to every contest we promote.
