Montreal’s Crew Collective Café
The sophisticated, elegant wedding of London-based couple Isabelle and Adrien was celebrated at the historic Montreal landmark Crew Collective Café, bringing together family and friends from all over the world. The cathedral style co-working space and café is located in the Royal Bank headquarters and steeped in old world European charm and architecture. With intricate detail in the floors and 50-foot ceilings with rounded windows, the couple found the ideal venue to showcase their style while under the watchful eye of Toronto-based wedding photographer Raphaëlle Granger.
“Isabelle and Adrien wanted the architecture to shine so they opted for lots of candles with white florals, making a timeless choice,” says Granger. “The white color palette looked perfect with the groom’s linen suit and the gorgeous gown the bride wore”. We love the elegant way Granger captured the look of the Crew Collective Café and the clean, elegance of the couple’s fashion.
When choosing your wedding photographer, it’s important to be able to click and share a bond. Granger says “Isabelle and Adrien charmed me with their fresh vision, adorable love story, sensibility, and love for the arts in general. “During our initial consultation, they told me their hope for their wedding day was for it to feel like a Sunday afternoon—a low stress, intentional day, centered around feelings and simple things.”
This approach synced up nicely with Granger’s, which is centered around creating a safe and comforting space that allows couples to be themselves and relax through the events of the day. She tries to be “as discreet as possible, while providing guidance when needed, especially for formal portraits”.
The overall collection has a distinctively graceful, high-fashion vibe without looking fussy or overly posed -- just one of the reasons we’re proud to promote Granger’s work.
