Our Guide to Wedding Games That Guests Will Actually Love

Looking for a way to inject even more fun into your wedding day or weekend? Adding wedding games to your activities is one of the easiest and most entertaining ways to keep guests engaged and feeling joyful. Whether you’re planning a laid-back backyard bash or a sophisticated soirée, here are 15 wedding games and activities to choose from to suit your wedding style.

In this guide, we’ll break our game ideas into two categories: those that are perfect for kids and families, and those that are ideal for grown-ups who are looking to kick back, laugh and let loose.

Wedding Games for Kids of All Ages

If you're inviting young ones to your wedding, you can't expect them to stay quiet or patient for hours on end. To help them relax and enjoy the day (and give you cover for the games you want to play), choose a couple of fun activities like the ones below to add to your plans. The kids will be delighted, and their parents will love you too!

1. Bouncy Houses

We’re starting out with the ultimate crowd-pleaser. Not only do kids go wild for a bouncy house, but we’ve seen plenty of couples and their wedding parties sneak in a bounce or five. It’s high-energy, safe (with supervision), and makes everyone feel like a kid again.

2. Bubbles Everywhere

There is an instant magic that happens when bubbles start to fly. Creating rainbows. Shapes, and bubbles big and small will light up the faces of children and grown-ups. Go all out and add a “bubble bar” with lots of different blowing rings. Then, kids can mix their own bubble potions (with adult help), and have a blast trying out all the options. You can also have them hand out bubble favors to create a whimsical recessional.
